The Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is pleased to announce that the 16th Annual Welfare Research and Evaluation Conference (WREC) will be held May 29–31, 2013 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

For more than fifteen years, the WREC has been a leading forum for family self-sufficiency and poverty researchers, State and local administrators, practitioners and program operators and Federal officials and policymakers to network with peers and discuss cutting-edge research on family self-sufficiency and social welfare programs and policies.
